I'm David, a designer.

My path began with music and photography, and in 2007 I broke new ground in the field of user-centric design. Since then I've helped world-class people design and build great products. Cultured in Calgary, Montréal, and Santa Barbara, I now reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I facilitate a series of design meet-ups, Apogee SF, which support designers from all demographics to approach new design techniques. I've been to beautiful Gaza to mentor small teams and advise for a couple startups in the Bay Area.

Lately, I've been working on process and design systems with some smart people at Poll Everywhere, and building prototypes with Framer, InVision, and Sketch.
